Rhea the Second is a Chicago-based Pop/R&B recording artist whose sound blends pop, R&B, dance, house, and disco. Influenced by artists like Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Donna Summer, and Brandy, she moves fluidly between soulful vocal expression and a polished pop aesthetic. Active in the Chicago music scene since 2011, she launched her solo project in 2014 and has since performed at major festivals including Coachella, Pitchfork Music Festival, and Lollapalooza, and collaborated with artists such as Noname, Leon Bridges, Neal Francis, and Durand Jones & The Indications.
Her latest project, Chicago Patchwork, created with guitarist Blake Rhein and Michael Damani, set the tone for a new creative chapter in her evolution as an independent artist. Building on that momentum, her upcoming single “Back In My Life” continues her reinvention of modern pop/R&B with unforgettable melodies, mesmerizing harmonies, and irresistible rhythms.
Join her at Tack Room for a high-energy night of original music and dance-floor-ready mashups spanning ’70s disco through early-2000s pop and R&B.
